Mommy's big boy!!

I just can't believe that Ryan is 6 months old today!!!! Having Ryan in our lives is just absolutely amazing. I can't describe the feeling of being a mommy to such a sweet boy! I feel so blessed to have the best family of three. I adore my boys and they help keep my sanity when I let my stress get the best of me. Life is perfect when I look into my little man's baby blue eyes. Every day gets more and more exciting but we have had some major milestones in the past month.

Ryan is now sitting up, with an occasional face plant. He can play with so many more things now that he sits. He grabs everything and wants to take everything straight to his mouth. He is so much fun. He also is interacting a lot more. He makes a lot more sounds and giggles like crazy when you play with him. He absolutely loves to be talked to and enjoys "reading" books. He helps turn the pages and adds his own sound effects.

He eats like a champ! He takes about 5 bottles a day, plus fruits/veggies twice a day and oatmeal/rice twice a day. I can't wait to find out how much he weighs next week. There will be another update when I get that info.

He has 2 bottom teeth and is currently working on his top teeth. He's precious with those two pearly whites showing through when he smiles. I can't wait to see what he looks like when he gets his top teeth too.

Ryan is definitely an animal lover! Every time he spots the dog or cat he smiles and giggles. He watches every move they make and can't wait for them to come close enough to pet. The cat is his BFF. She comes running to him when I bring him home from daycare and doesn't leave his side. That's perfectly fine with Ryan because he wants to pet her all day long! Lulu is so good with him even when he's pulling her fur. She just takes it like a pro and comes back for more. Dakota (puppy dog), is not as interested in Ryan. He doesn't pay him any attention but that doesn't phase Ryan. He gets plenty of entertainment just by watching Dakota play or even walk by.

Ryan has had his first over night stays with his grandparents. He did great at both places and enjoyed being away from home for a night. He got to spend time with his grandparents and other puppy dogs (Ryan's favorite). It's nice to know that he can adjust so well at other places for the night.

Here are just a few pictures of my little man. There will more to come here and on Facebook.
