Exciting Times...

The last post was very short because we were just trying to figure the new website out. We are excited to give everyone updates on these wonderful times. There is so much going on in our lives right now and we couldn't be happier with all the major changes!

Obviously, I'm pregnant and anxiously awaiting the results on Tuesday to find out if the baby is a Ryan or a Hannah. Either way we will be extremely happy. We can't wait to be parents to a beautiful child! We just hope and pray that we have learned enough from our parents and are able to be the best parents possible. So far I have had a really good pregnancy. My parents were awesome and bought us a crib today. That's the first big baby item purchased and we are so excited about it! We can't wait to find out the sex of the baby so we can paint the nursery and set it up. I know it's early, but I can't help how anxious I am to get started on the baby stuff! We also started looking into day cares...what a stressful part of having a baby!!! We obviously want something affordable, but we also want the absolute best for our child. You can't really have both...haha! We're hoping to meet in the middle and have both, something affordable and something that's great for our baby. We will definitely keep looking and keep you updated.

Another exciting change is Jamie's job. He has been looking for a new job for over a year. He has been ready for a change that is a better fit for him. He has been wanting a job with more opportunities to move up in the company and do things he truly enjoys. After a year of searching, he found a great job that he is very excited about. Friday was his last day at PokerTek and he starts his new job on Monday with Parker Hannifin. I'm really happy for him to begin a new journey.

My first semester of graduate school is wrapping up. I'm hoping to be done with my final projects by Thanksgiving so I have over a month off before next semester. I shouldn't speak too soon but so far it really isn't as bad as I thought. It's very time consuming but I've gotten it figured out to where I only work on grad work on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and have the other days and of course weekends free. Jamie has been extremely supportive while I'm preggers and in grad school. He cooks a lot, helps clean a lot, and always offers his moral support. He has always done these things but now he's much more adamant about me focusing on other things while he worries about the household stuff.

It is definitely an exciting time for us and we're looking forward to all the excitement ahead.

Check back Tuesday for the new baby ultrasound pictures and the result of pink or blue!!
