Time sure does fly when you have children. It's hard to believe Hannah has been home with us for 2 months already. She has been such an easy baby so far. She eats great - usually 4-6 ounces every 3 hours. She sleeps great - usually 6 hours at a time at night. We start her bedtime routine around 7:30 and get her to bed around 8:30 (to match Ryan's routine). She doesn't wake up to eat until about 2-3 most nights and then gets up around 7:00. She also naps well during the days. Ryan used to take quick cat naps when he was younger, but Hannah takes solid naps. She'll take a few quick 45- 1 hour naps and one 2-3 hour nap. Her long nap usually coincides with Ryan's so that helps us get things done or gives us a moment to relax.

Hannah had her 2 month check up yesterday and is growing so fast! She is 11 lbs 10 oz and 24 inches long. The doctor said she is perfectly healthy so I hope that continues! She has become so much more aware of her surroundings lately and loves to watch whatever Ryan is doing. He was actually the lucky family member to receive her first smile. He was telling her "Good morning" and leaned over to rub her head and kiss her when she gave him a big grin! It melted all of our hearts. I'm ecstatic that Ryan was able to score the first grin from her because he is absolutely smitten with her. He just cannot let her out of his sight. He touches, hugs, and kisses her whenever he gets the chance. He tells her everything. There is nothing sweater in this world than seeing the sibling love he has for his little sister. It melts my heart to watch him lay beside her telling her all about his day, or singing a song to her to make her feel better. Hannah sure is lucky to have such a sweet and loving big brother!! I hope they keep a close relationship as they grow older.

We have our first road trip with Hannah this weekend. We are taking her to West Virginia to see Jamie's grandparents. I'm curious to see how she does in the car for so long because she does not seem to enjoy the car as much as her brother always did at her age. We shall see...
