4 Weeks to Go!!!!

I cannot believe we are 4 weeks away from meeting our precious baby boy!!  The excitement is really setting in...along with a little anxiety.  I have been dreaming about him more and more and can't wait to hold him for the first time!  However, I'm getting a little nervous about being a first time mommy.  I just want to do what's best for him and give him everything he needs.  I know I'll have plenty of support but I can't help but feel a bit worried.

I've officially begun the "nesting" period.  I cleaned every closet and cabinet last Saturday to feel more organized.  Hopefully I won't drive Jamie too crazy trying to keep the house spotless.

Everyone keeps asking about my cravings and mood so I'll update you on that too.  Surprisingly, I still have not had any cravings.  I have actually had more aversions throughout the pregnancy instead of cravings.  Jamie said he's a little disappointed that I haven't had any late night cravings because he feels that he hasn't had the full experience.  How funny!   He's such a wonderful husband and has been unbelievably helpful during the whole pregnancy.  He's been cooking dinner almost every night and makes sure I'm comfy at all times.  As far as the mood...I haven't had crazy mood swings but there's still time for that.  I've been tired more than anything lately.  I haven't been sleeping the greatest, I'm on my feet all day, and then come home and work on graduate work.  I'm exhausted by bedtime, but that's only preparing me for nights up with Ryan.

I was lucky enough today to have a baby shower at work.  My coworkers were extremely sweet and made it very special.  Ryan received all kinds of goodies from everyone.  I was so excited to come home and show Jamie all the wonderful gifts!  Thank  you to all of you fabulous ROE staff members!  You guys are the best and I appreciate all of your support and generosity!  You have no idea what it means to me!

I don't know if you noticed the countdown but we have officially changed his middle name to Michael.  We discussed it a few months ago and never really reached a decision until a few days ago.  I had never realized that Michael is sort of being passed down as the middle name for the boys in Jamie's family.  I want to keep that going with our little boy.  His full name is now Ryan Michael Campbell.

We're glad everyone seems so excited about Ryan's arrival and we will continue to keep you updated.
