32 Weeks...8 to go!

It's hard to believe that I have now had little Ryan in my belly for 32 weeks!!  Time has flown by and I have really enjoyed being pregnant.  I had a bit of morning sickness in the beginning and battled low iron, but when all of that evened out it's been an exciting experience.  I'm going to the doctor every 2 weeks now and Ryan's heartbeat is still strong and healthy.  I was able to see him again at my last visit because they wanted to measure him.  He weighed a little over 3 pounds and looked great!
A few weeks ago I had failed my 1 hour glucose screening (to test gestational diabetes).  If you fail it, you have to take a 3 hour test before being diagnosed.  I was nervous to take the 3 hour test because I heard it was terrible.  It wasn't as bad as I had made it to be in my mind.  I was able to go back to work right after I was finished and luckily I passed  it!!  I'm fortunate to not have gestational diabetes because I'm already picky about what I want to eat.
Ryan has still been squirming around quite a lot.  He hasn't been beating me up like he was.  He has become more gentle.  Haha.  He has started responding to certain noises.  He loves to hear daddy talk and he seems to enjoy hearing music.
I still haven't experienced any crazy cravings.  There are a few things I want a lot, but nothing I HAVE to have and nothing strange.  I want Chick-Fil-A and chips and salsa a lot but that's nothing too surprising.  There are more things that I don't want to eat now that I'm pregnant.
A few of my friends are due around the same time as me so it's been nice having others to share experiences with.  I'm obviously new at this so it's nice discussing what's happening and the excitement with other pregnant friends.  It's definitely the year of the boys.  All my friends that know the sex of their baby are having boys.  I guess Ryan won't have a shortage of playmates.  It's also been helpful having family members and coworkers to help with advice.  One coworker was even sweet enough to let me borrow some maternity clothes.  Thanks Dawn!!!!

Everyone has been asking to see belly pictures.  I have been putting it off because I haven't gotten very big.  I'm finally starting to get a decent sized belly and thought it was time to let everyone see it.  Enjoy the belly pictures and we'll keep you updated.
